5K Run/Walks in Kansas City: Sweetheart Run/Walk February 17, 2018

Don't freak out on me here, but I am getting excited about exercising. I used to love to walk all the time as a stress reliever and to stay in shape. I want to share my excitement with you dear readers all over the world. Specifically, though, in Kansas City. I'll be posting upcoming walk/runs as I find them. This does not mean I'll be participating in all of them, so don't show up expecting me to sign autographs or anything. I MIGHT or MIGHT NOT be there, depending on household funds at the time (it costs to enter a race), Mr. Kerrie's travel situation, my sanity level, etc. Enjoy the race info, and go out and find some in your town!

What: Sweetheart Run/Walk

When: Saturday, February 17, 2018

The Ritz Charles in beautiful Overland Park, KS will be our host for the 10th annual Sweetheart Run! This Valentine's weekend tradition is a great chance to get out and run with your loved ones! Individuals and two-person teams will compete for age group and team awards in the 5K and individual age group and overall awards in the 10K. In addition to the awards for the fastest teams and individuals everyone will receive a great finishers medal and long sleeve shirt! Kids ages 8 and under can participate in the kids fun run and will receive a kids medal!

PACKET PICKUP

         Friday, February 16th from 2:00pm - 6:00pm - at the KC Running Company Store in Leawood - 4760 W             135th St, Leawood, KS (135th & Roe)

Saturday, February 17th from 7:30am-8:45am - Ritz Charles (9000 W. 137th St, Overland Park, KS)

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

Kids Fun Run: 8:45am

5K/10K start: 9:00am at The Ritz Charles 9000 W. 137th St. Overland Park, KS
