The Importance of Keeping Workers Safe

There are many rules which govern our lives, and this includes in our places of work. It is every employee’s right to work in a safe environment where they have the correct tools and training for the job, as well all of the personal protective equipment that they need to stay safe carrying out their duties. It can be a minefield trying to work everything out, and one of the best ideas is to implement risk assessments on all of the tasks that your employees carry out. It is not just about keeping people safe though, as there are plenty of other good reasons to take care of your workforce and create a safe working environment.

Create A Happy Workplace

When you create a safe working environment, you will also notice an increase in employee happiness. Nobody wants to arrive at work every day not knowing if they will be safe at work, worrying about potential risks and threats.

Happy Employees Are Productive Employees

As a direct result of creating a safer environment and making your employees happy, you will also notice that as happiness increases, so do the levels of productivity. With the correct training and implementation of procedures to safeguard employees, you are showing them that safety is a matter of priority to upper management. A small thing, such as providing hi viz safety jackets to employees, shows the workforce that it is not just about profit and their safety is paramount.

Create A Professional Image

When you take the safety in the workplace seriously and go above and beyond what is required of you by law, you are creating a professional image that shows all of your customers, and potential customers just how serious you take your workers’ safety.

A Decrease In The Running Costs

When you create an environment which is safe for employees, you can see a reduction in running costs over time. When you maintain a high level of training for your employees, the benefits of this will usually see a decrease in running costs which will help to streamline your business, making it more cost-effective.

An Increase In Profits

Another advantage of maintaining a safe working environment is a potential increase in profits. The fewer accidents that occur in your workplace will mean that you will not be hurt by increasing insurance premiums which can eat away at profits. By creating a happy and safe working environment, you will also increase the productivity of workers, and also see a decrease in absenteeism.

Peace Of Mind

By providing your members of staff with all of the training that they need to do their job properly, as well as all of the safety equipment required, you will have the peace of mind that if anything does happen, you took all the necessary precautions to prevent it from happening that you could. Accidents do happen from time to time, but with the correct training and a vigilant attitude, you can help reduce these to a lesser frequency.  Work with your employees to reduce accidents and create awareness, and you will all benefit from operating in a safer, happier, and a more productive working environment.

How to Process Tomatoes When You Aren't Ready to Use Them Yet

Okay, so you know how your garden tomatoes don't make it all convenient for you, and they turn red at different times? Or you have some that are RIPE, and some that are orange-ish and some that aren't QUITE ready and some sitting in the window sill and some sitting in the fridge? Eventually they get gross in the fridge. And when you have the time to make sauce or whatever THEY are not ready. Dang tomatoes. Also, who wants to make sauce and can stuff in the summertime when you can do it in the winter?

You can solve all this by just buying tomatoes at the farmer's market or you can do what my mother-in-law taught me to do! Check this out! By the way, it could not be any easier. If a Kitchen Moron like me can do it, anyone can!

Start with your gorgeous ripe tomatoes. I estimate that about 20-ish tomatoes might fill a gallon baggie.

Fill up a pot of water and get it boiling. Then put in about 8 tomatoes, depending on size. Watch them until they start to split. Then put them in your sink full of cold water.

Here is their home after they split. Don't feel sorry for them; they are fine. This is a sink full of cold water. If you have an icemaker, use it to fill up the sink with ice AND water. It shocks them and makes them easy to peel.

Peel them and put the peel in a bowl or something where you will also put all the innards. Core the tomatoes and don't be afraid to cut out green or yellow stuff and any bad parts. Quarter them and toss them into a baggie. Aron likes juice and seeds with his because he just processes them further later but you might want to take that gunk out depending on what you want to do with the tomatoes. (Update 2014 now I core them FIRST before putting them in the hot water)

Voila! The tomatoes you saw on the counter made these 2 gallon bags of tomatoes, ready to turn into tasty spaghetti sauce whenever you take them out of the freezer and have the time to do so.
Please leave me a comment if I've forgotten a step or something! Have fun and share this with your friends!

*Originally posted August 4, 2012 but I'm sending some beautiful tomatoes off to see Aunt Blanche today so thought I'd give this post some love.

The Benefits of High End Architecture For Luxury Retail Brands

If you live in or visit any major city – both in the US and overseas, chances are you will see some pretty incredible buildings that are actually shops or malls. While in the past, the most beautiful buildings tended to be churches, theaters, galleries, and museums, these days, a lot of the work a high profile architect does goes into designing flagship stores and shopping complexes, and the results can be quite breathtaking. Some stores belonging to top end designer fashion houses like Chanel have even won architectural awards for their innovation and beauty.

Of course, hiring a world class architect and creating an amazing building from scratch is a lot more expensive for a brand than simply moving into an existing location, so why do brands like Chanel, Dior, Gucci and Prada want to hire a luxury architect of the likes of Peter Marino to design their flagship stores?

Prestigious Buildings Signify Prestigious Products

One of the things high-end luxury brands sell themselves on is the sense of prestige people get from owning them. Whether it is a suit, a bag, a watch, or simply a bottle of perfume, part of what makes people want high-end goods is the sense that they have been designed by the best people in the world. These products carry with them that sense of exclusivity. By having some of the most beautiful and interesting buildings in a city, a brand can add to its sense of luxury and prestige, which carries over to its products.

Shopping Becomes an Experience

These days, many people shop online and it can be easy to find products from high-end brands for far less from online designer outlets than by going to the stores themselves. However, by having incredible, glamorous buildings that are an experience to visit in themselves, designer retailers can have a good hook to encourage shoppers to visit them and enjoy their customer service, allowing them to see the pleasant experience of shopping in store over buying online. This experience is often worth paying a little more for. Another benefit to making shopping feel like a luxury experience is that it can encourage visitors from other cities into your store, as every city's store is unique.

A Perfect Venue for Collection Launches and Other Events

Another reason brands benefit from having unusual and interesting buildings as their flagship stores is that they make excellent venues for star studded collection launches and other high profile events, where a lot of publicity can be garnered. It is difficult to imagine a glamorous celebrity filled launch at a regular store in a mall. However, at a beautiful building designed by a top architect, these events look a lot more special and can attract a lot more media interest.

It is interesting that commercial buildings, especially high-end shops, have become some of the most attractive and innovative building projects in many major cities, creating some amazing places to visit for fashionistas and architecture fans alike.

Fun Activities For A Family Night In

Family time is a sought after experience these days, with busy work schedules, oodles of homework, and a lot of us needing some more naps in our lives. Yet before bed time rolls around, you should do something together as a family to have the maximum amount of fun together when you can. It can ramp us up for the next day or tire us out to get some fitful sleep. Below are some ideas on what you can do to have a lot of fun, (with a little bit of learning thrown in) with family activities!

Play Some Association or Word Games

This is a game you can make up on the spot that doesn’t require any equipment or proper knowhow. However, if you really want to brush up on your english skills because you’re a very competitive person, you can check out sites such as the Effortless English Blog to find the best ways to improve your speaking and thinking states.

You can also develop your own little hacks to make sure you win the night. This can usually be done by writing everything down beforehand and finding ways to incorporate it in the activity. So clever, and this extra sneaky element is great to learn now and use later!

Have A Nice Late Evening BBQ

BBQs are always something to get excited about. Loads of good food on offer that you can always smell, and there’s something so novelty about hanging out in the back yard with smoky flavored buns and family. Yet, even though summer has left us, there’s nothing to say you can’t still have a good barbeque!

With the days coming to a close a lot earlier, it can be quite a magical scene. Hang up some fairly lights and put on a friendly tune and you’re guaranteed to have everyone enjoying themselves.

Throw Some Balloons Around

Not only is it fun to blow up a balloon and let it off without tying, it’s also fun watching people turn red as they try to use their own breath. Yet keeping the balloon off the floor is an age old activity that still keeps people riveted for a good while. Balloons are cheap and can be found in every good craft store, so pick up a packet on your way home and go wild with them scattered across the floor.

It also means you can make your own puppet theatre with a little bit of grafting and papier mache. This lets the younger ones really hone their creativity, and the older ones can try out their stand up routines. Make sure you’re ready for all the puns about to come your way!

Family time together can be anything, as long as it’s fun for all the family. It can be board games, making things up, even cracking out the old game console to have multiplayer teams. Consider a family night in when you next have some free time, and go the extra mile with participation.

4 Ways to Protect Your Family

If you are raising a young family, it is likely that you will give a lot of thought to the future. When you are living the free and single life, it is much easier to ignore the demands of tomorrow. However, once you take on the huge responsibility of having children, it is important to always think ahead. Although it is horrible to imagine anything happening to your family, being prepared is the best way to keep your loved ones safe. You need to consider all of the risks that you are facing in order to come up with suitable solutions. If you are wondering where to start, you will need to read on. Below are four ways for you to protect your family.

Prepare a medical kit

In order to be prepared for an emergency situation, it is a good idea to put together a medical kit. You should have one for your home, and another in your car. It should be filled with all of the essential equipment that you might need. Nine times out of ten, you will just require a Band-aid and some antiseptic wipes. However, you should also be prepared for more extreme emergencies. If your children have any specific conditions, you should use your medical kit as a safe space to store their equipment. For instance, if your child struggles with asthma, storing their inhaler in a safe place is the best way to ensure that you always know where it is. Don't forget to make sure the air in your home is safe ... this is a great site for air purifier reviews!

Here are some Best Hepa Air Purifier For Mold and Mildew Reviews

Know the Law

In order to protect your family’s rights, you need to know your family’s rights. There are all sorts of different situations that you could find yourself up against in the long run. Knowing what type of lawyer to call to help you - for example, a Criminal Lawyer - will ensure you can get the help you need as quickly as you can. This allows for better results!

Protect your technology

When your children get to the age that they can use technology, it is important to take simple measures in order to keep them safe. You should use protective software that blocks certain sites. Some devices even allow you to set up passcodes so that you can visit areas of the internet that your children cannot. Don’t underestimate the threat that your family faces when using technology. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

Invest in insurance
If you want to protect your family’s future, you need to consider your insurance. Don’t just settle for the first policy that you come across. Turn to Change Insurer, as they will help you to find honest, independent advice that you can depend on. Selecting the right insurance policy is the best way to achieve peace of mind. Instead of being caught out by life’s twists and turns, you will be prepared for every eventuality. This doesn’t just apply to insurance - being prepared saves you money; from knowing a reliable emergency plumber to being able to find a good dog bite lawyer in case of accidents, it all helps. If you want to protect your finances, and secure your children’s future, it is vital that you have a clear plan in place.

Secure your home

Your home should be a safe place for you, and your family, to relax in. Don’t allow your safe haven to be compromised. Make sure that your household security is extremely efficient. You should think hard about the ways in which your property is vulnerable. Then, you should work to find suitable solutions. Luckily, securing your home doesn’t have to come at a great expense. Instead, there are lots of simple, and cheap, ways to keep your household safe

A New Location That The Whole Family Will Love

If you are thinking of moving home, there is likely to be plenty that you have on your plate. This is especially true if you are moving from one location to a quite distinct one, as there is often more to consider in such circumstances. One of your main concerns is likely to be ensuring that everyone is as happy as possible with the new location which you intend to move to. But finding such a place can take a lot of time, effort and sometimes a fair share of worry. In this post, we are going to share some advice on how to find the ideal location for all of the family.

+.jpeg
Consider Every Member Of The Family

One of the most common causes of consternation when families move to another location is that someone - or a couple of people, in some cases - was not considered fully or properly. You need to do whatever you can to really consider every member of the family during the move. If you are going to be taking your kids’ grandparents with you, you might need to find nursing homes, or else look for a home which can support them sufficiently as well as the family. If you have children, you will need to think about whether the new location is suitable for them - have you looked into schools, local parks and so on? It is only by thinking carefully about everyone who is involved that you can hope that everyone will be happy.

Don’t Rush Into It

If you find that there is something of a tendency to rush into things in your family, this could be one occasion when you really benefit from slowing things down a little. Over-rushing in such a case can easily lead to more stress than is necessary, and it is even possible that your children will over-act as a result of this. When this happens, it becomes difficult to tell what expressed opinion is genuine and which is just a spur of the moment response to the stressful situation. Avoid this stress, and its related worries, by simply giving yourself plenty of time to make the whole process. The more time you have, the better it will be for everyone.

+.jpeg
Is A Family A Democracy?

If you think it will help for your family, you might want to think about holding some kind of a vote as to where to live. This is best done when you already have a few options to choose between, of course - and you probably don’t want to do this if your children are too young to really understand what they are voting for or against. But in the right circumstances, this can actually be one of the better ways to move home while keeping a family close-knit throughout.

Looking for the right location can always be a little stressful. However, as long as you approach it sensibly, you should find that you are able to find the ideal spot without too much worry. Then it’s just a matter of the actual move itself.

We Have Found Our Dream House in Peculiar, Missouri!!! #PeculiarMO

Welcome to Professor McLoughlin's Home for Peculiar Children. We are moving to Peculiar, MO, population under 5,000, from Overland Park, KS, population around 190,000... and we could not be happier!

Things we can have in Peculiar that we could not have in stuffy OP:

1. Chickens
2. Fireworks
3. Fun on things like ATVs and lawnmowers
4. Peace and quiet
5. Stars

No, really, this is my place now. I still can't believe it. We move in right before Halloween!
Here are some pictures so you can check out our new home as of October 17. The searching for it for over 2 years was the EASY part. The getting our 1966 home ready to sell has been the CRAZY part for the last 6-plus days since we found out our offer was accepted.

First of all, the house came to my email inbox Sunday before Labor Day. One week after my grandma died. I was chilling by my aunt's pool, which we ADORE and thinking how much it stunk that pools always close on Labor Day and how great would it be to have your own pool?! And my husband was joking about how fun to have a bar ... like my aunt and her husband have ... just a fun place to entertain.

We went to see it on Labor Day. We were the first to see it! Then people started coming in droves! And making offers! And our amazing realtor, Jacqueline Elbert, stood in the front yard with us and prayed about the house. And we just kept praying. And waiting for what seemed like forever but really ... it was not long. Wednesday night after coop we got a text from Jacqui saying to order the POD. Aron was at work and I was wrangling kids and I saw the text and started crying happy tears. I felt like Miss America or a lottery winner.

Turns out the plan is to HOMESCHOOL at the bar and out by the cement pond. The Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres are coming to mind for me here.

Digressing. Sorry about that. I'm shocked my brain works at all anymore and that I have found five minutes to post this. Things like hygiene and eating and sleeping have gone by the wayside.

So I'm just going to write later about all the cool signs that pointed toward this place being ours and how disappointed I would have been had it not worked out and how excited we are to meet everyone who lives around there, including TEENAGERS!

So here are some photos from today when we went for the inspection. The owner was there AND I LOVE HER ... she reminds me of my Aunt Cathy so much. Yes, the one with the pool. And her grandkids called her husband POPPY ... don't get me started on the Poppy sign (my dad and my grandpa).

Michael and Sam singing songs while scrubbing up old carpet glue.

I spent part of the morning with a paintbrush and Goof Off trying to get years-old paint off the wood floor from someone who painted the trim without taping the floor and then put carpet down. BAD KARMA upon you. I have half a mind to look you up in city records and read you the riot act.

See that? Yeah, that's our SALTWATER pool that the owner herself told the kids they could test out. Cheaper and better for your skin. And HEATED. And possibly open late October. Stay tuned.

Is this a dream?
How many homeschooled kids can say they were schooled at the bar?

Gotta have drinks for the schooling. What would Pink Floyd serve? Toaster oven and you're all set.

Downstairs living space

The boys' bedroom is hugemongous! This is one end of it.

And this is the other end of it.

Plenty of space for all our homeschool books and supplies.

So many great family photos are gonna happen right here.
Okay, gotta get back to the Goof Offing white paint thing and then more carpet glue scraping and mopping floors and staging. Half our stuff is in a SAM (store and move). They went out of biz but Fry Wagner here in town got their storage units so I was surprised to see this and it was so funny!

We had some AMAZING helpers and the PROCESS of getting a house ready to show was torturous and I don't recommend it. People tried to warn me but I didn't listen. I like to learn things the hard way :-)

UPDATE: Pre-Review of "The Queen of Distraction: How Women with ADHD Can Conquer Chaos, Find Focus, and Get More Done"

Scroll to bottom for update if you've already read this post!

So as I was doing my morning walk today I realized I was all done listening to "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up" by Marie Kondo on Audible and was ready for something new. It's hard for me to find time to sit down and read a book, plus I get distracted easily and just can't focus on the words anymore. Audiobooks while I walk are the perfect solution for me ... exercise and knowledge in one = perfection!

When I was at the library recently I saw on a shelf nearby someone had put this book on hold:

I'm like, why are they writing a book about ME????

I put it on hold at the library for the print copy but realized that is laughable since I can't focus on reading it so I'm using my own affiliate link to get it on audiobook!

I listened to a sample on Audible and was nodding my head like an idiot while I was walking. Stacks of papers? Yes. No clue how to prioritize the sorting of them? That's me. I'm sure that explains a lot of people who don't necessarily have ADHD but the way I procrastinate and can't stick with boring things and constantly run after new, shiny things drives me nuts about myself! And when I get focused on something I enjoy, time passes so quickly and then I'm late for things ... often rushing the kids around to get out the door late for something because *I* can't get my crap together.

This is a 6-hour, 18-minute audiobook so give me until November 15 to post my review, please! I can only fit in about 30 minutes of walking a day and only then if the weather is 48 degrees or above!

Women and me like me who might have adult ADHD ... there might be help for us. Also, I see these traits in one of my daughters, so it would be AWESOME to be able to help her while she's not even 8 years old yet!

If you want to buy the book now because I have you all excited, please use my affiliate link above! If you want to wait for the review, that's also cool! Oh, and it will try to make you get the paperback by default. I just clicked on the item name from my shopping cart and went back to the options and clicked Audible and used my credit :-)

Happy November!

**Update September 10, 2017: I never finished this book, which is typical of women with ADD. I have to laugh!

5 Underused CTAs For Emails That You Need To Try

You already know that every email marketing message you send out should have some sort of call to action (CTA), but there are so many different ways to type and place those CTAs. Let’s take a look at some underused CTAs that you could try including in your electronic communications.

Text
Many people think of CTAs as a graphic or a button that entices people to take action. But, your CTA doesn’t have to be visual, it can just be text. It’s up to you if you want to link the text to anything, or just make a bold statement. This is a good way to qualify leads. If a reader takes that extra step to email or call you for more information, it means they truly are interested in what you have to offer.

Add a CTA to the Signature
Email signatures are somewhat forgotten about at times, but, with the help of the ZippySig email signature maker or similar platforms, they’re the perfect place for a CTA. You may want to include your Twitter handle in your signature, or your company’s phone number. You could even use your signature to promote registration for an upcoming webinar.

When it comes to adding a CTA to your signature, consider the content of the email and where the CTA should be placed. This type of CTA should align with the subject matter within your email.

Include Your Social Sharing Buttons
Your social sharing links and buttons are a quick and ultra-easy way to encourage email readers to share your marketing messages. The same way you need to make it easy for people to forward your emails, you need to encourage them to share your content on their social media platforms.

Make It Easier to Forward Your Email
There are people who get confused about how to use email to generate business leads, and rightfully so, it can be daunting. If you already send out marketing emails, though, you’re doing something right!

While email is commonly used to nurture leads into customers, including a CTA to forward your emails on to friends may help to generate brand-new leads with your email marketing endeavours. Some readers will choose to forward your emails on their own, but when you include a specific and clear CTA to do so, even more people may take action.

Optimize Preview Text
When you open up your inbox, you’re usually presented with a long list of emails, right? Well, along with that list of emails is a preview text that allows you to see just part of the email, giving you enough details about what the emails is about so you can decide if you want to open it. However, the preview text is not necessarily the very first line of the email – you are able to customize it to use as a CTA.

You can consider the best copy that you would like your audience to see that will entice them to open your email. This copy ought to be short and powerful. Keep in mind, it may not be the very first few line of your email, though, it could be something further down in the copy, like a portion that highlights the call to action.

Overall, treat this preview text as a chance to present readers with one more CTA – to go ahead and open your email.

Time Is Money, Especially at Home

When you’re presented with a time-consuming task, you usually have the option of throwing money at it in order to speed it up. This usually seems like a terrible idea, but time is ultimately money and there’s more to this exchange than you might think. For starters, let’s assume that you’re moving home. Are you going to drive a handful of boxes to and from your new home, or are you going to hire movers to assist you? Most people would cringe at the idea of hiring someone to drive your own possessions, but if you take the time to analyse the costs and think smart about it, then you’d be surprised at how much money you could actually save.

This is just one example of where paying for a service or putting money down could save you a lot of time. Time is precious, after all, and we need to make the best use of it if we’re going to enjoy life to the fullest. If you’re curious about how you can make the most of your time, then here are a couple of situations where spending money could make you happier in the long run.

Hiring a Gardener

If you’ve got a fairly large garden, then you might have considered hiring a gardener in the past. Unless gardening is your hobby, then it’s likely something you don’t actually look forward to. Gardeners can be fairly expensive, but it’s usually worth the cost because they not only help you manage your garden but can even give advice and help you design your garden. It’s a lot of space to waste away doing nothing, which is why many people have resorted to hiring services to improve their backyard.

Hiring a Cleaner

Not everyone likes cleaning, and if you live in a busy household then you might spend more time than you’re willing to on cleaning. That’s when home cleaning services can actually come in handy. If you’re willing to put a bit of money down, you can hire cleaning services that not only dust your home and keep it sparkling but can also assist in doing laundry, folding clothes and even polishing your home till it shines.

Hiring a Contractor

Contractors are expensive, but if you want to renovate your home or install something new, then it’s best to enlist the help of a professional. Of course, if you have DIY-savvy friends or know professionals that work in the business, then it might be better to ask them first. However, if you’re not too keen on relying on friends and family, then your next best bet is to hire a contractor that can not only do the work but help with any safety considerations that might prevent you from carrying out your plans.

Hiring a Repair Service

Repairing something like a toilet or broken pipe might seem easy, but there’s a lot that goes into home repairs that you might not completely understand. In a worst-case scenario, you might end up paying far too much money on power tools and materials when you could just hire a repair service to fix your home. Add to that the possibility of you breaking something and worsening the damage, and it’s going to cost way more than just asking a professional to help.

Must-See Tourist Attractions in Quebec

As it takes up close to one-sixth of Canada, it is fair to say that the province of Quebec is packed with a diverse landscape of things to do. Whether it is historic cities, snowy mountains or sand dunes, there is something available for every type of traveler.
That’s why it is a little sad that the large majority of visitors only stick to Montreal and Quebec City. Admittedly they are the two main cities of the province and have plenty to offer to the discerning traveler, but there’s just so much more to Quebec than those places. So with that said, read on for some of the must-see tourist attractions in the Quebec province.

Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré
Positioned just 22 miles away from Quebec City, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is a cozy and quiet riverside town. Yet the half-million people that visit the area each year don’t come for its calming ambiance – the main attraction is the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. Known for being a hotbed for miracles, this basilica has a stunning appearance that will appeal even to those that are not religious. Note that the main period for pilgrimage is during the feast of Saint Anne, which takes place around July 26.

Magdalen Islands
Also known as the Îles de la Madeleine, the Magdalen Islands – which are situated in the Gulf of St. Lawrence – offers idyllic beaches and sand dunes. The area is made up of 12 islands, and six of these islands are connected to make them easy to explore. Ideal for summer trips, the Magdalen Islands is a great place to unwind on the beach, enjoy water sports and go bird or whale watching.

Mont-Tremblant
When it comes to winter, ski resorts are in high demand in Canada. Arguably the best one is Mont-Tremblant, with a 960-meter peak that provides a skiing oasis for beginners and experts alike. Not only that, but Mont-Tremblant also supplies a healthy selection of entertainment and dining options.

If you’re looking for a luxurious, award-winning place to stay in this area, it is highly recommended you visit this site. Although be quick, as room reservations go quick!

Chutes Montmorency
If you have a love for nature and waterfalls, you have to plot a quick trip to the Chutes Montmorency. Just a short drive from Quebec City, this waterfall is a wide sweeping one that is perfect for aspiring photographers. This aspect is enhanced by a narrow bridge that crosses over the Montmorency River that provides a different vantage point of the waterfall.
Also, here’s an interesting fact: due to its 84-meter escarpment, the falls of the water are actually higher than the famous Niagara Falls!

Forillon National Park
Positioned at the edge of the Gaspé Peninsula, the Forillon National Park is the perfect locale if you want to go bird or whale watching. With limestone cliffs and a rugged landscape, the park is also great for exploring due to its picturesque nature. Also note that it also boasts the Cap-des-Rosiers Lighthouse, which is the tallest of its kind in all of Canada.
