How To Afford the Trip of a Lifetime

If you’ve always dreamed of taking the trip of a lifetime, then you’ll likely already have some idea of
where you would go and what you would do - but perhaps, this trip never really took into account
children.  Indeed, when we have children, everything changes and with regard to travel what was
once simple becomes a little more complicated and often a lot more expensive.

In this article, we’re going to take a look at a few ideas on how to make travel more affordable as a
family - but rather than offer the standard cost saving tips, it’s often better to look at repurposing your
travel budget in order to squeeze the most out of it.  After all, there’s no point having $5,000 plans if
you only have a $500 budget.

No matter what travel hacks you read, there are few viable ways to do this, unless of course, you
happen to be a travel blogger that can apply for complimentary media visits in return for editorial
content.

This article therefore looks at making the most of what you have.

Now,, if you’re thinking of taking a trip of a lifetime with your family chances are you won’t be looked
to ACS to find out how much it costs to charter a private plane, unless you have a huge family - in
which case, it can actually work out cheaper than flying with a standard airline; particularly if the two
points aren’t on a well established route… but when you think about the intrinsic value of a flight, and
boil it down to its most basic value proposition, a flight offers to get you from Point A to Point B.

Commercial airlines such as Delta have a wonderful way of pitching this service in such a way that
makes us want to upgrade to a seat with more leg room, better food, and perhaps a glass of
champagne upon take-off, but when it comes down to it, a flight is a flight and if you can save money
on your flight, then the savings can be invested into something more splurge worthy such as a fancy
villa right on the beach, or even a cool convertible to drive around the island in style!

FLIGHTS
When it comes to saving money on flights, the first thing you need to do is head to a comparison
website such as Skyscanner, as these websites compare hundreds of flights in a matter of seconds
and display the cheapest, fastest and most convenient flights to get you from A to B.

There’s a similar concept called Rome2Rio that incorporates a variety of transport methods, including
driving, trains, coaches, ferries and planes; showing you the approximate cost for each option along
with suggested itineraries based on the time you wish to start out.

The great thing about Skyscanner is that it allows you to search flexibly - so rather than being limited
to a day, or even a particular destination, you can search for the whole month or airports within a
particular country (e.g. UK) or even a specific city (e.g. London of which there are four major airports
you could fly into - each costing a different amount of money).

The way to save money when it comes to flying, other than AirMiles and the like, is to book well in
advance and be as flexible as possible.  It’s understood that not everyone can be flexible as flights
have to work around time off from work and other commitments, but it’s interesting to note that often
there are six flights in a particular week that are $150, for instance, and then one day when the flights
are just $45!

In a nutshell, flexibility is your friend when it comes to booking flights.

ACCOMODATION
When we think of the trip of a lifetime, we tend to think in terms of fancy hotels, and where you stay
certainly does make a huge difference to your overall experience - yet, today with the power of
crowdsourcing there are sites such as AirBnB that offer premium places to stay at much more
affordable prices than most hotels.

Indeed, you can rent an entire villa that’s right on the beach for the same amount as a family room in
a chain hotel.  Not only does it provide better value, but also, it’s a much better experience as you
tend to stay more as a local and feel much more like a settled guest rather than a transient tourist.

If you are looking for a hotel, however, then be sure to head to a comparison site such as
TravelSupermarket which does a similar job to SkyScanner in that it will compare multiple providers
to find you the best deal on a particular property.

SQUEEZING THE MOST OF YOUR SPENDING MONEY
When it comes to spending money, this is where most people feel the pinch, as it’s not a nice feeling
to want to do things such as fun activities but not have the money to comfortably afford them… this is
particularly true on family holidays, as the last thing you want, is to feel like you are depriving your
children of their optimal experience.

In this vein, you need to look at ways to squeeze the most of your spending money so that you can
indulge in some really “wow” experiences, whilst cutting costs on aspects you aren’t so bothered
about.

For instance, if you were to be at a hotel on a half board basis, you could perhaps put together a little
packed lunch from the breakfast buffet - saving you money on a tourist priced lunch.  You can get
public transport, rather than have the expense of a car, and things like this.

It doesn’t always have to be about saving money in order to have more to spend when on holiday…
it can be the case of making better use of the money you do have, in order to be able to afford the
trip of a lifetime without breaking the bank.

How to Homeschool Multiple Ages Without Losing Your Entire Mind

Can't see their signs very well, but they are: junior, freshman, seventh, fifth, second.

I have to admit last school year did not start so hot and just got worse. This is why, but it was an education in finances and managing stress and a lot of other life skills. Then after that, we had a Florida vacation, then moving and unpacking, then Christmas.

So the grades I'm teaching at home are: 11th, 9th, 7th, 5th and 2nd.

I'm really excited about this year because I did more planning for it than I probably ever have for any other year. I'm also communicating more with the kids so they know what's going on. Our first day was the day after Labor Day, as always, and it went well. Public school kids were out, so we had 3 playdates, plus my oldest had to go to work early afternoon. Plus Sam had soccer practice at night.

So it's not like we sit around every day on beanbags lazily reading books and sipping hot chocolate while also getting excited about math problems. And then moving to the bar in the basement to do some cool science experiments. Then acting out history. Nope. That would be a great homeschool day, though. Maybe in January when we are snowed in.

I'm trying to be more realistic this year so I can keep going without burning out and so I can be a more rockin' and fun teacher, so I'm doing some things I talk about over here at my homeschool blog.

No day is typical, and each one is very different from the one before it. We eased into everything yesterday, today is our first day back to co-op, and it's going to be a long day to include some Theology of the Body for Teens for the oldest three at church tomorrow night plus Faith Formation class for the youngest two.

Kinda looks like a police lineup, yes?

It's going to be a great year full of inspiring, entertaining and educational experiences!

4 Basic Rules to Make Your Life Worth Living

Every person loves to live a life that is free of tension, depression, anxiety, and worries. It is possible to live such a life that is worth living; then you must be the writer of your life. There shouldn’t be any interference other people in your life changing decisions because usually, people direct others in ways that they like and completely ignore the fact that how capable the other person is.

Maybe you pick a job just because you think it is safer, easier and less risky than the career you actually wanted to peruse. Worse than this is a scenario when you do a job or study a subject due to the pressure of your family. Having this attitude will lead you only from one paycheck to another paycheck, and you will fail to find true happiness and contentment. These are the bad decisions that we take by listening unnecessary advice from people around us who are might be not very successful in their lives but never stop giving their expert advice to ruin other people’s future.

In this article, we are going to share with you four rues that you can incorporate in your life to make it worth living. Keep them in and make them your priority in life.

1.  Never Let Other People Dictate You Your Life Goals

Your life is your responsibility, and you should try to take all the decisions about it. Your spouse, children, and even not your parents should be allowed to take charge of your life. You can obviously take advice from them but never put your last and final decision in front of them to get approval.

It is extremely important because no one can ever know what you want in your life, what are your dreams, your likeness, and dislikeness, etc. For instance, when you decorate your home, you may want to buy exterior roll down shades from https://www.royalcovers.com/exterior-roll-down-shades/, but people around you want you to buy an acrylic aquarium for living room decoration from https://www.titanaquaticexhibits.com/acrylic-aquarium-manufacturer/. In this situation, if you sacrifice your need with what that people like to see, then there is no fool like you on the planet. This is just a simple example, people actually give their life decisions, such as marriage, relationship, and profession decisions in the hands of other to play with them. At the end of the day, they all get busy with their lives, leaving you in a miserable condition. So, never do that to yourself and make a rule in your life that you are the final decision maker.

2.  Do Not Let Yourself Chained with Stuff

The world around us is filled with multiple things that we like and even love to the extent that we never want to leave them in any case. In this situation, a person is definitely not leading his own life, but the stuff is leading his life. You can evaluate this fact just by asking yourself a question that if there is a situation in which you have to give up almost around 90 percent of net worth, then will you be able to do that effortlessly. In answer to that, if you feel hesitation, then probably you are not leading your life and failed to drive yourself towards your dreams. Rather the stuff around you is leading your life dreams, and definitely, they are ruining them.

3.  Stop Money from Ruling You

Money is an important thing and acts as a resource to help you improve your life by removing discomforts. If you are in control of your life by fulfilling all the basic needs without temptation towards every new version of every product, then your life is in your control and not in control of money.

You can maintain this control on money to lead a happy and worthy life is by storing emergency funds for almost one year in your bank account. Other than this you can slow the rate of your excess in comparison to your monthly income. Moreover, you must be able to reduce your expenditure very easily if there is some emergency in which you cannot spend too much on yourself. If you can do all this, then definitely you are leading your life on your terms and not on the terms of money.

4.  Prioritize Yourself in Any Relationship

It is the most important thing to live a worthy life to prioritize yourself in every relationship. When you prioritize yourself, then it does not mean that you are selfish, but it means that you love yourself enough not to let other people ruin your mood and life in any way. If you sense that relationship is not working well and becoming a threat to your peace of mind, then you should immediately step back from such relationships.

Moreover, in any kind of relationship, you as a person comes first than anything else. It means that you are able to enjoy your relationship to its fullest, but at the same time, this particular relationship is not the only center of your life. Your purpose in life must be more important to you than that relationship. This is because relationships develop and break with life, and you can get I to next relationship easily if you keep your mind in balance. Life purposes cannot be developed and changed again and again, so they must be your prime focus in life.

By keeping in mind, the points mentioned above, you can lead a very well-balanced life that you can call worth living. It will be free of depression, anxiety, and tension because you are giving priority to yourself rather than material things and other people who continuously come and go in your life. A simple decision in your favor changes your whole life and a single bad decision that you take just to make someone happy can ruin your life. So, never take a risk when specially to comes to your career and marriage.

4 Things In Tech You Need to Know Today

Technology offers so many possibilities that cannot be surpassed by any other industry at present. With so many trends rising, it is challenging to keep up with the latest strategist needed to know if you're someone working as a professional in tech or someone who is just a true enthusiast.

According to Sean Seshadri, this year presents current technology developments that show promising growth. Here are some of the things you need to know if you want to succeed in technology.

4 Things In Tech You Need to Know Today

1. A lot of investors are looking into blockchain.

At present, many investors have heard about the power of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. Most enthusiasts have already invested their assets through the form of Bitcoin. However, in a bigger scope of things, the underlying technology that powers Bitcoins is the blockchain technology. The idea that information and other types of data are decentralized gives power to private entities, making it possible to transact without a central bank system.

Sean Seshadri states that there are many blockchain startup companies that are carving up their niches and are finding ways to help other businesses grow. For example, they start as cryptocurrency brokers, which help businesses have transactions without having a security compromise. Some examples are Filecoin and Gameflip, which now finds a way to decentralize an industry costing billions of dollars.

Other businesses such as Sparklecoin helps blockchain investors rise to purchase products and services through the use of cryptocurrencies.

2. Many pioneers are finding ways to apply the Internet of Things (IoT).

Internet of Things (IoT) is a growing industry that is now valued at almost $6 trillion dollars. These investments are headed to be a part of IoT solutions that can be used in varying industries both in commercial, personal, and industrial use.

One of the ways the Internet of Things revolutionizes things are in the form of Smart Beds, internet-integrated movie devices, and WiFi-enabled speakers. Soon enough, many of different devices that we use every day will be integrated on the internet, making it easy for us to have access and connectivity whenever and wherever we use it.

3. Virtual reality turns into actual reality.

The current years is showing promising developments in virtual reality. Now, it isn't just related to gaming devices, but it can be also used for different purposes such as surgical stimulations, rendering, and other business-related aspects. Companies that take a stronghold in the virtual reality niche such as Oculus and HTC develop console devices and other platforms where users can have functional access to VR.

The largest problem that virtual reality industry faces is the ability to produce content that should be able to attract potential consumers. The industry has definitely grown, continuing to expand and developing content that helps build up interest for its users. A lot of virtual reality startups are focusing on non-gaming facets of virtual reality.

4. E-commerce is the future of retail.

In the following years to come, e-commerce will be taking over the retail industry. In a recent report about retailing, it shows that 83% of US adults have already purchased something online. The big players include Amazon and eBay=-making e-commerce a true giant that would soon be trumping the brick and mortar stores. A lot of startup companies are now pushing toward e-commerce, making it both easier for buyers and sellers.

There are companies such as Shopify that help people become online entrepreneurs by making e-commerce less complicated and understandable to ordinary people.

By remembering these trends, you can be sure to get ahead in the tech industry as you pursue your goals.
