A Bang-Up Job

A few weeks ago Joel cut Callie’s bangs while they were at a friend’s house. Clearly I’m not on top of things. The “before” picture:

I had to cut the rest to make it look a LITTLE bit better (I’m no hairstylist). Here’s THAT result:

Aron said it looks like a mullet for now. So we taught Callie to say that word, plus “business in the front, party in the back.” She’s proud to look like Hannah Montana’s dad.

  1. Not too bad for not being a hair stylist. My daughter cut her own hair recently. Fortunately my sister-in-law is a hair stylist so she made it look a little bit better.

  2. Oh my gosh! That's my worse fear that my daughter will discover the scissors.

  3. I actually LOL'd at this post! My 4 yr old just asked, "Why are you laughing?"

Last summer, my son (then 6) cut exactly one side of my youngest's (then 3) hair. It was fairly long, and he lopped it all off. I took her to the stylist to fix it, and a few weeks later, she got hold of the safety scissor herself. It wasn't pretty. It's just NOW starting to all grow back.

    Sigh . . .

  4. Why, our daughters have the same hairstyle. Yep, older girl cut little sister's bangs..only difference is it was over a month ago and bangs aren't that long even. I'll be posting some pics of her first day of school(tomorrow) and we can compare...lol
