I can't look at pictures of my oldest as a baby; it is too painful how time has passed so quickly. All good things in my life, but this life is so precious, isn't it?Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01003509923187311611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-915703366269834950.post-32399074708445338152012-03-22T20:00:53.587-05:002012-03-22T20:00:53.587-05:00dang, karen, that is a really good point. my grand...dang, karen, that is a really good point. my grandparents are 82 and their 50-something mentally challenged daughter still lives with them. it's not the same as "frozen at the cute baby stage" but they have her until they die. okay, never mind. it's bittersweet, but my kids can grow and have their own lives and i'll be fine :-) hope everything is okay with haley!Kerrie McLoughlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357207300211730918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-915703366269834950.post-54341507190198155162012-03-22T19:19:14.674-05:002012-03-22T19:19:14.674-05:00Lance and I always said we wanted our kids to not ...Lance and I always said we wanted our kids to not get older than 4. Funny thing about that is Haley has greatly slowed in her growing causing us to have some tests done and her bone age (the size of her bones) is showing at 3 years 6 months....so I guess she will be 4 or younger as we always wanted. I guess I should have been careful what I wished for. lolKaren Burkharthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13058979655723182388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-915703366269834950.post-58433045194135659272012-03-21T16:54:55.207-05:002012-03-21T16:54:55.207-05:00thanks, kelly! i know someday i'm going to be ...thanks, kelly! i know someday i'm going to be that woman in the grocery store stalking and staring at the women with the little ones. if i see a woman with 5 kids like me having a meltdown i will likely pay for her dang groceries and give her a hug! then go home and call each of my own grown kids.Kerrie McLoughlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357207300211730918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-915703366269834950.post-70012671904268992202012-03-21T15:21:42.711-05:002012-03-21T15:21:42.711-05:00Treasure it, Girlfriend. Yes, mine do their own school work, some days without even one question. But they can DRIVE when they're 16! And they can leave us when they're 18! That's less than 3 years for my first born! Enjoy it. Make memories. And keep sharing with us :)Kelly Stilwellhttp://www.kellystilwell.comnoreply@blogger.com
