The Bristol: Girls' Night Out

So here is what Tresa, Eva and I had last night at The Bristol:

Prosciutto crusted George's Bank scallops served with shaved (not scruffy) fennel and a balsamic reduction (not an augmentation)

Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut champagne

New England clam chowder

House salad (baby greens, watercress, feta, pine nuts)

Fresh mozzarella and tomato salad

Grilled Atlantic salmon with lemon-asparagus risotto

Center Cut filet and crabcake



Warm Ghirardelli chocolate cake

Chocolate velvet moussey cake

Coffee

A glass of pinot for Tresa since she's a boozer (ha!)

And to top it all off ... this awesome, lip-plumping lip gloss ... she's gonna write about it on her blog and you HAFTA buy it! I think it was called Buxom Lips!

Thanks for my b-day present, Aron! We had a blast (Eva crashed halfway through ... you can just see her little head on my arm!).

  2. yay for like-minded people in the middle of the midwest! :) Glad you found me - I need to be more active over on KCAP, just haven't found time to squeeze it in. I do all (or hope to - large family, homeschooling) of your 7 freaky things! :D And I am currently awake at 6am on Sunday when I don't have to be for another 2 hours because I haven't found a good nighttime cloth diaper either and little one was so soaked through tonight that there's no going back into that bed for me and no waking hubby up to change the sheets, so... awake it is!
